In a city reputed for its “friendly hospitality", standards seem to be slipping. Maybe it is because so many of us have moved to Alberta and businesses have trouble keeping staff. Maybe it is the new work ethic. Maybe it is because staffers know they can always get another Joe job down the street in a matter of seconds (have you seen all the Help Wanted signs around town?) Maybe there is not enough competition between businesses. Whatever the reason, it’s making us cranky.

This situation is the same all over town and is getting worse.
I hear the owner is a real "you know what" to work for...I've heard this from several former employee and friends of former employees.
